The story began in 1985 when Ray and Lois Morganstern discovered YLANG YLANG in Bal Harbour, Florida. It started out as a charming, European fashion jewelry boutique. Ray and Lois fell in love with the concept, and their vision was to bring this unique style of jewelry to Saint Louis in Plaza Frontenac, something the city had never seen before. Over the years, YY has evolved into the fine designer jewelry that it is today.
The success continues with daughter Julie Ettinger, who carries the crown forward. In 2014, her vision of moving the store was brought to life in our current stunning gem of a location in the heart of Ladue. For over 40 years, YY continues to serve beautiful jewelry to our loyal clients and the future generations to come.
